Our Story
Jewett Roofing Company was founded in 1983 with a simple belief: every homeowner deserves a roofer who shows up, tells the truth, and does the work like it's their own house.
Back then, it was just Joe Jewett Sr., a ladder strapped to an old pickup, and a reputation he built one roof at a time. Word spread. Neighbors told neighbors. A small roofing operation became the name people trusted across Utica, Marcy, New Hartford, Whitesboro, Clinton, and all of Central New York.
Today, the truck is newer and the crew is bigger, but the handshake hasn't changed. Neither has the workmanship. We're still family-owned. We're still fully insured. And we still treat every roof, every siding job, every window replacement like it's going on our own mother's house.
No subcontractors you've never met. No corners cut. No excuses. Just honest work from people who live here too.
Our Mission
To protect homes and families across Central New York with roofing, siding, and exterior services built to last — delivered with honesty, transparency, and care that turns first-time customers into lifelong neighbors.
